I DON'T HAVE A TITLE FOR THIS JEEP SO IT WILL BE SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY (I put salvage title in the description only because ebay requires me to put something) This is an early 1946 CJ2A that has a rare column shift. I also have the original manual and original sales receipt from the dealership from 1946. It is serial number 23856. This Jeep has been used as a plow vehicle the last several years and has always been (and still is) garage kept. This past winter reverse and first started to go out. It will start up fine but can't shift into reverse or first for some reason (it can still be driven in 2nd and 3rd). This jeep has recently had the fuel pump rebuilt, carburetor rebuilt, brakes redone and a basic tune up. The gas is fed through a separate plastic tank because the original tank has rust on the inside. This Jeep also has a PTO and I can throw in the plow setup if the winning bidder wants it. The winch IS NOT included unless the winning bidder wants to buy it separately. Almost everything on this Jeep is original, including the oil bath air filter and 6V electrical so it would make a great restoration project for someone that wants to keep everything original.
