This auction is for a 1999 Chevrolet Malibu LS in immaculate condition. My wife and I purchased this car less than 3 years ago for $ 5,995 from a local dealer with the intentions of having an extra car in the event we needed to drive it. We are selling it because we simply do not drive it enough to justify owning it. It has been garaged or kept under a 10 layer car cover since we have owned it. There is very very little rust anywhere on the car - and all of the electronics work perfectly. It has power brakes, power steering, power windows, power seats, power sunroof, cruise control and a great factory stereo system. The paint shines like new and the heater works great on the very coldest winter days. The only issue of any kind with the car at the moment is the A/C needs to be recharged. Our mechanic told us the compressor works great - but there may be a tiny leak in one of the A/C hoses. Our local Firestone Auto Repair dealer is offering a special of $ 149.00 to diagnose, dye test, repair, recharge and warranty the A/C system of most cars (including this one). Within the past 24 months we had our local professional mechanic install new wheel hub assemblies, new sway bar, tune-up, all new brake lines on all wheels, new brake pads, new rotors, new wiper blades, new control arm, new trailing arm, new struts, new spindles and all new tires at a cost of more than $ 2,185.00. I have all of the mechanic receipts to support each and all of the repair costs. All of the tires have more than 40,000 miles remaining in their 60,000 mile warranty. There is not a mark, stain or blemish on any seat - and we just had the entire car professionally detailed last week. This would be an excellent extremely reliable safe vehicle for any college student or anyone on a budget in search or reliable transportation. At more than 25 MPG in the City and 36 MPG on the Highway this is a very inexpensive car to operate. Last year my wife drove this car from Pittsburgh to Minneapolis to visit our daughter and only had to stop three times for gas and said the ride was extremely comfortable. I have been on eBay for more than 16 years and have a perfect 100 percent rating for more than 750+ transaction. So you can absolutely bid with confidence.
