You are viewing my Porsche 550 spyder replica, showing only 4500 miles. This Spyder is a quality build, in WONDERFUL condition, that is well maintained and need nothing. Titled in New Jersey as a 1964 Volkswagen Porsche 550 Glockler Spyder. Powered by an 1835cc dual port VW engine with dual Solex carbs and mild cam. New Porsche Arctic Silver paint with Painted Red fender stripes on the front and rear fenders, new front coil over shocks , gel cell battery, new fuel pump/ new fuel and custom K&N air cleaners , The front and rear deck lids open automatically (hydraulic motors)with a flip of a switch, four point racing seat belts, Original Style wheels, .Recent work done in the past 530 miles, new rear brakes, new front shocks, clutch and carbs adjusted with some new fuel lines. Tires are excellent, wheels are professionally painted and are not bent. Drives very smooth and straight at 70 mph. I would not hesitate to drive this car on a 1000 mile road trip. This Perry design kit is very comfortable and very roomy compared to a beck. The interior includes authentic Banjo Steering wheel with Porsche Logo center horn button. All switches are Porsche authentic including the fog light switch that the center lights yellow when the fog lights are on. Additional Photos will be uploaded on request :) Also Includes two new Fender Mirrors (see EBay item 151443908716)professionally sanded, primed and painted Porsche Arctic Silver to match the car. Have not installed yet because the mounting is based on the height of the driver and where the driver would like them to be located. These cost $500 with the finishing and painting. Mechanically and aesthetically the car is excellent! The interior is in excellent condition. This spyder is a quality build, no short cuts, and serious attention to detail!
