I purchased this vehicle 4 years ago, from the original owner. With the numerous deployments that I have been on, I have not had the time to enjoy this vehicle as it should be. It has been garage kept, but the paint job isn't the greatest and you can see the rust coming through some of the areas where the bolts go into the hood and around other smaller areas. There is potential for this vehicle and with the right owner, she could last forever. I have had no engine problems and it runs fine and to speed on the highway. The top needs some work, as it is a little rusty near the rear handle. The side running boards have an epoxy blend and are not metal. There is much potential in this vehicle. As you see the other FJ's that have been restored, you can see the realm of financial possibilities if you wanted to sell it down the road. These are not as popular as a Jeep, so you don't see very many of them on the road.
