Here is in my opinion one of the most timeless Rolls Royce designs ever. Stately yet not ostentatious, This car has all the traits of its more expensive sibling the LWB Silver Spur. This car badged as a Silver Spur has the upgraded body color hubcaps trimmed in heavy chrome. The paint on the car is simply that, gorgeous!. Its mirror like, expensive like only the English can do. The interior is in good order, The whole interior is done in black leather, including the headliner, the deep wool carpets are also trimmed in leather, the craftsmanship of these vehicles is something truly to admire. This car is clean and looked after and it shows. The wood isn't cracked or flaking, the seats are not crumbling and you can see that at over 30 years old it looks like a much younger car. What I like about Rolls Royce's is that they incorporate the best of what the English do well and .coupled with a GM sourced transmission and Air Conditioning, they can be very reliable cars if kept in the proper hands. Every Rolls Royce has two braking systems., pressurized by twin hydraulic pumps featuring eleven inch diameter disc brakes. Many of these cars have fallen into disrepair because neither they, nor their mechanics use the proper mineral oils, and fluids that make these unique systems work. Hence major repair bills. So keeping these cars in good order with the proper knowledge can make them incredible, fun, modern cars even today. This car is masculine in its color combo and looks like its sibling, the Bentley Turbo R. This car also has the upgraded European headlights, and of course a Bentley Turbo R steering wheel. Its had a complete tune up including ignition wires, plugs, cap, rotor, all the fluids have been changed, the braking, suspension, and air conditioning are all in good order. My advice to a prospective buyer is to buy the best example they can afford. There is nothing more expensive than a cheap Rolls Royce and restorations can be ruinous. There are however many breaking yards in the UK and they run a great operation and parts are cheap and readily available and they are sent 2 day air and ready for installation.
