This is Zeke and though I am reluctant to part with him, it's time for him to find someone else with whom he can go on adventures. I am the third owner, having purchased him in 2003 from a man in Cincinnati who had it in storage. The van was originally purchased by a family in Tennessee who used it primarily to provide transportation for a wheelchair bound child. Though we've had a lot of adventures, it still has only 97,160 miles and when work was needed it was done exclusively by a VW expert in Dayton, OH. The vehicle runs great and the interior is in excellent condition. Zeke has been in the midwest for the duration, and as one might expect, has had some small rust on the exterior body. I have had body work done on the driver's side "kitchen panel", as well as on the tailgate. As you can see in the pictures, the undercarriage is in good shape and what rust there was has been abated. The propane tank for the stove is rusted and will most likely need to be replaced. We have the front camping curtain, the rear mosquito screen, the skylight curtain, window screen and one of the removable tables. I think the pictures speak more eloquently than I can as to the overall condition of the van. This is a well loved vehicle that you can rely on for great camping and a fun drive. We part with him now only because we've moved to Costa Rica, otherwise he'd stay in our family forever.
