Vehicle Detail
This is a very well appointed and well sorted Willys Wagon with tasteful modifications. This wagon underwent an extensive "restomod" restoration in 2010 while in the hands of the past owner from Washington, who commissioned the work by a reputable shop well versed in modification of Willys Wagons. I guess they are very popular out there. The prior owner used the vehicle lightly to get him to his favorite fly fishing holes. Since I've owned the wagon, I have maintained it well with the nessesary oil changes and misc. maintenance updates and upgrades (plugs, wiring, brakes). The wagon runs well and is very quick with the 327 under the hood and the dual glass packed exhaust sounds excellent! This is a reliable, daily driver Willys Wagon that can get up to speed on the highway and stay there until the tank is empty! The 4x4 warn hubs are in good working order. The metal on the car is SOLID! There is one very small spot (.25"x 1") where the paint is bubbling in front of the drivers door, which is very easy to repair. I have the paint code for this color, which is a 70's GM color. The only thing that wasn't finished during the restoration in 2010...or by me is the headliner, which is also an affordable and easy project to do on your own. The tweed headliner tacking strips are all in wonderful shape. and ready for your custom touch on the headliner. Whoever buys this wagon will absolutely love it! This is by far one of the best cars I've owned. It is an absolute pleasure to drive and gets a TON of attention! The ladies love the color and your car show buds will love the chevy power under the hood! Happy Bidding!!!On May-20-15 at 17:21:51 PDT, seller added the following information: Axle ratio is 3.31
