1972 Porsche 911T Targa.2.7L 1976 “S” upgraded motor (#6460700 -911/82), 5 speed 915 transmission (#9153032210R)**PMO .40mm duel triple throat carburetors ($4K new), Holley fuel pump,Summit adjustable fuel regulator & pressure gauge, stainless braided lines & aluminum fittings, oil-fed Carrera chain tensioners , MSD ignition, headers (no heat) ,performance exhaust, K & N carburetor air filters W/ watershield covers. For showing ,a set of Inglese individual screened covers for the 6 chromed carburetor horns .RSR front bumper, “duck tail” rear lid, rear RS flared fender panels (don't see any welds), good Targa top and head liner. Older black re-spray showing it's age, original color was special ordered in royal purple/lilac(option 69). Dash, all gauges and interior are in very good shape, Front seats and door panels are not original, front drivers side carpet and seat are worn. Interior rear seats, side panels etc. appear to be all original leather(option 99).Fuch wheels 6X15 front and 7X15 rear, Porsche emblem caps. Very low mile Proxes4 tires, 205/55 Front : 225/50 rear. Lowered and leveled suspension, bushings replaced ( it can be adjusted back to factory settings). Older adj. Koni shocks. front and rear stabilizers (COA option). Body, pillars & tub are solid and in good shape, front suspension pan was replaced after I bought the car. There are 3 spots of body rust on the front fenders (2 small spots left headlight area, and lower right front fender near door/ small holes on drivers side floor) , rear bumper surface *see pictures- repairable, nothing to major. I can supply more detailed photos. . Beautiful trim and chrome bright work. Also included is a Performance Products fitted car cover. There is an interesting story behind this car, it was actually stolen in 1976, now registered with a new state issued Vin # VT324826 and fully documented clear ownership. I bought the vehicle in 2001 and have very much enjoyed it over the past 14 years. Researching the Vin # prior to sale, I also located (and photographed) the production number stamped on the dash sheet metal, this enabled Porsche of North America (super helpful people,) to cross match that number to the original Porsche factory Vin # 9112111556 . Working with the Vermont DMV, together with an investigator from the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) and Porsche Cars, NA, a full investigation has been done on the vehicle. The car had been stolen in the 1976 from a woman in New York city and has been out on the lamb for 39 years until I figured out the mystery.***Now fully investigated and clear. The Vermont DMV detective came to my house and personally attached and engraved a new state issued vin tag and number on the chasis. Happy ending, Porsche COA includedVehicle Production numberFull ownership paperwork documentation with certified investigation report and disposition linking to the Porsche Factory VIN#Currently registered.All details updated into the NICB , VT State registry and Porsche NA databasesState of Vermont, like some other states does not issue titles on vehicles older than 15 years old.
