UP for auction is a 1998 DODGE Ram extended cab work truck. Bought the truck in April of last year and within the first week, the fuel pump went out. I let it sit for about six or seven months before getting a new pump put on by the local garage. Started driving it around some and noticed it has the usual Dodge transmission problems -- namely, sometimes it will shift smoothly and sometimes it will not shift into third gear. I'm told this could be a filter issue or could require a transmission rebuild or somewhere in between. Realistically, I've just kind of lived with the issue for the past few months because I have not had the extra cash to have it checked out and/or fixed. Motor, in my opinion, sounds good. Battery is up and drove it to the local Walmart where it is sitting right now with a for sale sign. Never had any issue starting it since the fuel pump was replaced. Have hauled farm stuff and a trailer back and forth a few times and managed to put on 1000-1500 miles on it. Used about a quart of oil during that time. A/C works, heat does not. CD player works. AC outlet works. Inside is in OK shape. Tried to take as many pictures as I could. Sticker/registration expires this month and will need to be seen to when title is transferred. Body has dents, dings, and fender replacement. Overall, gets a B- (again, my opinion). Blue TEXAS Title in hand; open/clear title, no liens. I am putting this up for auction with NO RESERVE at a price way lower than what I paid for it, so that it sells at a fair price. If you bid, it is to own it. If you are local, you are welcome to come crank and run it in the Wal-mart parking lot (not on public highway, though, to avoid potential liability) I've tried to be as blunt as possible and provide a ton of pictures so you know that you're NOT buying a new truck. This is a work truck with wear, and miles and imperfections and so forth. BID only if you will pay when you win. Your bid is a contract and will be enforced.
