These items alone are easily $500.00 value. I can e-mail pictures of these items THIRD PARTY INFO POINT OF PURCHASE Original owner died and the bike was Willed to a nephew. The gentleman I purchased the bike from had possession of the bike for two years during Will Probate Period, was a family friend of the original owner's family (Monroe, La) I was told the bike was warehoused for over 20 years, In December the family delivered the Title to the gentleman I purchased the bike from. During the two years of waiting on the Title, he took a job in Texas and was no longer available or home in Monroe, La to restore the bike. He knew the original owner who I was told owned the warehouse full of vintage cars and motorcycles. I was told the original owner purchased the bike in 1970 in Japan, stationed there US Military. Once his duty station changed back state side to California, he obviously shipped the bike, his primary transportation as a younger man. Upon retiring from military later in life he lived in Monroe, La and owned a speed shop hence forth the collection of vintage cars & motorcycles. He had set the bike up "chopper style" that is why I replaced the handle bars, clutch cable, grips and the drag style exhaust (to loud for my taste) The gentleman I purchased from said he will help out with any information on the history of the bike. If serious buyer, I can connect you. CURRENT SITUATION: I have two video's of the bike running. First video is the first time the bike was started by us and we have reason to believe the first time in over twenty years. I have spent a lot of money on the bike, as you can see from the parts list, I replaced with New Genuine Honda parts. I have a substantial time investment from the time I purchased the bike in December 2014 and spent well over a thousand dollars in parts, plus labor from December through early March and frankly I have over $5000.00 invested. The bike is very original except for the exhaust and master cylinder. The original duck billed seat has been covered but you can see it is the original base We where able to get the bike running quickly, new plugs, plug wires, oil change and used great care lubricating the upper end prior to using a "Motion Pro" to feed fuel. Once the bike fired off, I started and idled the bike several times a day while the inside of the tank went through process to clean, flush and seal it. I used the Gold Seal Tank Sealer process to seal the tank unfortunately I dropped the tank just as I had finished the final step. Once the tank was sealed, I rode the bike a few times a day, a couple miles a day to put a load on the engine and start the process re-seating a valve. Basically see what we had with the bike as I sourced and had all the new parts inbound. It was a process. SEE PICTURE #10 (PICTURE SHOWS TANK DAMAGE, TANK EMBLEMS & ORIGINAL MASTER CYLINDER (New Master Cylinder installed) Brakes are excellent. BUILD DATE APRIL 1970 ENGINE NUMBER CB750-1035386 - Case is exceptionally clean See Pics: The engine has over sized Chrome Valve adjustment cover screws. These are worth $300 extremely hard to find nowadays. Because of the over sized chromed valve adjustment cover screws, (see picture with fuel tank off and notice new coils) Clearly, this indicates the upper end has been rebuilt with over-sized Cam/Piston set increased the CC above bone stock 750, to 836cc?? Your guess is as good as mine. No other person could have done this put the original owner (owned a speed shop). We took a couple spark plugs out when the bike was shipped to me and scoped as well as took the valve adjustment screws off. Super clean. It is our believe after he rebuilt the upper end, less than 1000 miles was put on the bike due to what we saw with the scope, super clean! Makes sense since he owned so many toys, he probably played with it and parked it for the most part. Just an educated guess. I can e-mail the video's of the bike running. I reserve the right to end this auction as the bike is advertised locally. Any questions, please e-mail me and I will answer any questions. A few things I can attest to. This bike runs excellent, very strong engine. It is a far better value and road ready bike than when I bought it. Front fork seals and you are good to go. The brakes are excellent and the brake pads are fine. Carbs will need syncing. If you understand the first two years of Honda carbs, the carbs probably will need syncing every couple months. Pictures: See pic: When the bike is running and engine warms up, two bolts on the bottom right of engine drip a little oil, needs to be re-sealed Any pic showing my house is where the bike is now in my garage. I drove the bike home after it stayed at my friends shop over cold weather months working on the bike and during this time I put most of the 300 miles on the bike Video from a shop is David place of business, Progressive Auto The last pic of the bike was the bike prior to my purchase of the bike with high quality after market chrome breather (he owned a speed shop and the bike was set up chopper style by original owner) I put one of three air boxes that came with the purchase back on the bike with new air filter from 1971 (black) air box. The original air box (same color as paint) did not come with the bike. The original air box would cracked from engine heat and had to be replaced If you bid and win. You own the bike. Any person interested without any (less than 10) performance history buying on e-bay, please e-mail me and let's talk. On May-16-15 at 16:19:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Original "Koito" Front Head Lamp Original Black "Kill" Switch 95% of the bike is original
