Vehicle Detail
1970 Porsche 914-4 cylinder. (45 year old ride) This is a "NO RESERVE" auction, "HIGH BID" wins! BARN FIND! Vin # 4702902052. This Tangerine Orange (Color Code L21E) 914-4 started life in January of 1970. This 914 was sold new to a Army officer/doctor and is a one owner vehicle. The 4 cylinder number matching engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission (matching as well). The mileage on the car is 34177. (I'm sure this is 134,177) The front and rear trunks are rust free and in great condition (both front & rear trunks have original carpet kits). The longitudinal supports are in great condition and the under-pan has no rust. The car is rust-free on the bottom jacking points and the jack tubes. The hellhole is in great condition and the battery tray is the original. (See pictures) There are not a lot of 1970 Porsche 914's left out there with so little rust that will sell this cheap! The headlights and pop-up motors work along with the side-marker lights, running and brake lights. The car has no oil leaks. The motor turns over and spits and sputters but will not stay running. This car has sat since December of 2004. I'm sure the carburetor and gas tank are fuel fouled from setting for so long. The brakes are suspect and I'm sure that a couple of the calipers are stuck. This car still has its original top, wheels, spare tire, glass, carpet, dash, owners manual, steering wheel, seats, chrome bumpers, visors, jack, and jack tools. The body panel gaps are excellent and have none to very few dents or dings. The car has never been wrecked and there is no Bondo or body filler in the car. All of the panels are original to the car. The carburetor and radio are not original and the rear valance is missing. This is a no reserve auction. High bid wins this ride! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly and please only bid if you have the funds to pay for this car. I have added 24 pictures for you to study. You can clearly see the quality of this rust free 1970 914. Please give this car a good look over, it warrants a worthy new owner/home! This car is for sale locally and could be sold before the auction closes. Bid early and bid often! Thanks, Mike 334-221-4859
