Vehicle Detail
1953 Chevy 210 - Running project car saved from North Carolina. This car is a very strong candidate for restoration or even a rat rod/patina rod. The body is rough. It needs new front floor panels on driver's and passenger's side. The rear floor is great. The other rot is at the rear of the right and left rear quarters as seen in the photos, as well as inside the trunk. Other than that stuff...the doors shut well, the glass is all there, the windows roll up and down, and the lights all work...the horn even honks! She starts on the key and runs just fine. With a little labor on the brakes and some chubby white wall tires, this sold girl should be ready to go! She even comes with a c-notch kit to get started on an easy air-bag conversion! This is a project vehicle, complete with rust, rot, and dents. The previous / original owner lost the title. I am the second owner of this car and can safely assume the title is clear. www.broadwaytitle.com can issue a new title for a small fee. FLOORS:Needs front floor panels. No big deal. The cancer in the floors is restricted to the pans. TRUNK:Some cancer in the rear a couple inches below the tail lights. This is a common spot for rot. Again, no big deal, they sell an easy replace piece for this area. INTERIOR: Seats are in decent shape and serviceable, but not original. Headliner is tight but stained and cut in one place above the driver side sun visor. I have the glovebox that is not shown in the pics. PAINT: original green and white is rusty. CLR treatment was done. Ready for clear to preserve patina. DENTS:there are a couple small dents in the hood, easy to bang out. Also one on the drive fender, again very easy to knock out. BRIGHTWORK: Bumpers are solid, just rusty. Grille on the car is a parts grille at best, it's beat up. I have two additional grilles. One is great with no dents, the other is also a parts grille. I have all of the stainless trim and new trim tabs to mount the trim. Also have some rare interior trim pieces only offered on the bel air. FUEL TANK:Has a hole in it. BRAKES:Shot. Car comes with a brand new dual chamber master and 3 cylinders, and misc new lines. Everything there to redo brakes. LIGHTS/HORN/BLINKERS:Working TIRES:Shot, barely hold air. WHAT ELSE:Comes with a C-Notch kit from Gambino Customs to install air bags. WHAT'S NEW:Fuel pumpNew water pump Wheels cylinders kits Hoses / linesNew dual reservoir master brakeGrille, moldings, glove coverNew Aluminum radiatorNew C-Notch kit for air-ride suspension modificationOn May-15-15 at 17:40:49 PDT, seller added the following information: Also included with the sale are a set of good fender skirts.
