This is a 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible with a Monaco exterior and a black leather interior. This car is from my personal collection, and is my weekend car which I occasionally take out for a Sunday drive. This is car is a dream to drive and has never let me down, you could probably drive this car coast to coast with no problems. I have had my fun with this car, but it is time to move onto something new, which is why I am selling it. This car has a new 350 crate engine from GM, rated at 260 HP this engine barely has 250 miles on it and is still covered under warranty. Here is some of the work I have done to the car: · New GM 350 crate motor· New pressure plates· New Clutch· New throw-out bearing· New Pilot bearing· Cut fly wheel· New throw-out bearing fork· New Exhaust system front to rear· New water hoses and belts· New water pump· New fuel Pump· Rebuilt Original Carburetor· Rebuilt Alternator· 8 new ES sparkplugs, wires, caps and rotors· New Malory high voltage coil· New wiper motor· New interstate battery· 4 new tires· 4 new shock absorbers· New brakes front and rear· New stainless steel calipers· New beauty rings· Wheels sandblasted and painted· New rugs and mats· New front windshield· New halogen headlights· New luggage rack· New gas tank and sending unit· New front spare tire· Has original jack and lug wrench· Recent Tranny and rear end service· New tranny and engine mountNew left and right rear view mirrors and windshield mirrorNew left and right outer door handlesNew electronic ignition This is a 46 year old car and it isn’t a beauty queen and it has some issues: the convertible is original to the car and has some small tears but does not leak, in order to use the windshield wipers you must manually pull the vacuum override under the steering column to open the cowl before turning on wipers, the horn does not work, the fuel gauge does not measure to max, the speedometer fluctuates, the radio is of poor quality, the convertible trim is cracked, this car has the original tack driven distributor, the paint job is a few years old so there are a few light scratches, the interior optic lights do not work, interior light switch doesn't work, the headlights are slow to open but this is a common issue with cars this old. All in all this car is in amazing condition for how old it is and it is sure to be a head turner. It’s a great ride with the convertible down, especially in the summer.
