1972 Javelin SST ~ Unrestored muscle car needing a new home. Great project car! Motor and Transmission are currently out of the car but are included. Both motor and transmission are original to the car (360 V8 ~ 727 Torque-flight). Still wearing its original paint & interior, even has its original exhaust tips still. It has the big 12 bolt V8 rearend, I was told car was a 4:10 posi but never checked, one of the back brakes is locked up from years of sitting. Factory Green on Green car with options like Power Steering/ Power Brake/ and AIR CONDITIONING. This car needs a full restoration, and the great body lines and cool design by AMC make this a cool muscle car worth fixing. Very solid car too, but a previous owner cut hole in the drivers side floor board, and another in the trunk (don't know why, wasn't me). Comes with a trunk-full of extra parts, not seen in pictures. Grill appears to be in PERFECT shape, and I have been told it is considered the CHEEZE-GRATER GRILL. Car is 95%+ complete, it is missing one of the headlight bezels, the valve covers, and maybe some other minor or small parts. Tires are Turbine mag wheels with raised white-letter tires, tires are in great shape, tread is almost like new still, and all tires hold air fine. This is being sold as a project car that needs a restoration. Car is sold AS-IS, where-is, with a Bill of sale only- both titles were misplaced years ago. Many states do not require titles on vehicles 25 years or older, but if yours does, it is not hard to obtain a new title in your name. I also have a 74 Javelin for sale, in the same condition, also on eBay. Both cars are located in Platte City, MO (just a few minutes NORTH of KANSAS CITY) ~ I live 8 minutes NORTH of the KCI International Airport. I saw and mentioned the whole cut out on the drivers side floor, there was a piece of sheet metal covering the floor on passenger side and I lifted it up today when I made the discovery. This car will need front floor pan sections made, mostly flat so it wont be hard, both sides carry up the side of the inner rocker. A decent metal guy could have the rust spots on both floors trimmed up and new metal cut and installed in a day. I will work on getting some pictures posted, I realize most people are too far away to drive to my place to look at the Javelins.
