Beautiful car and ready to be fully restored. The condition of the vehicle is very nice for its age except for some mechanical issues that will need to be addressed to fully enjoy the engineering quality and driveability of this classic. This is the European model with velour instead of leather seats. Also the climate control reads in Celsius and not in Fahrenheit. I recently purchased the vehicle to restore it but after having my Mercedes Benz mechanic at GP Automotive in Everett Washington inspect it after I bought it, I found that it needed more than I was willing to put in at this time because I also have a W124 I am restoring. If I had the money to put into it right now I wouldn't sell this classic. Whoever does buy this vehicle,with some TLC they will be ready to roll by summer. All that you see below is what is needed. Everything else is good. Car has no rust and no body damage anywhere. Here are the needs: Front brake pads, rotors, calipers,sensors, and fluid flush. Only need pads and rotors for rear. Vacuum leak from ignition circuit,need to remove instrument cluster to find leak Door locks are not working, vacuum circuit is blocked off. (You must lock the doors manually) They do lock and unlock. Drive side window will not come down. Coolant and oil leakage from the cylinder head gasket Belts cracked Exhaust hangers cracked Oil seepage from oil pan gasket, timing cover areas and rear main seal. Fuel filter needs replacing. Steering center link, right outer tie rod end has play Windshield gasket will need replacing as well. I failed to mention that this originated in San Francisco in 1985 and was moved to Tacoma Washington in 1991. So it's been a West Coast car all of it's life. I will be adding more pics!
