Vehicle Detail
Well I am selling my Suzuki, It has been repainted years ago from the ugly purple to a tan, that being said it is all original with low miles 74k . I am in my 60's and am a retired comm pilot so I am anal when it comes to mechanical up keep and such. Fresh Valvoline oil and filter, timing belt was done a while back at 67k, all gear boxes and tune. This Sammy is tight driving, shifting and will cruise at what I drive at 60mph, never off roaded, a/c blows cold. I have pics with cold oil pressure idle @ 60 psi and at normal driving temp 30 psi. Approx 33 mpg the way I drive. This is the only Sammy I have seen with chrome bumpers, but what do I know. The original front seat covers are weak in areas but I have covers I removed to see them. All elec work as they should, even clock. Fog lights are amber with covers mounted on bull bar. It has some scratches and a few small dents here and there but nothing to detract from it's mini Hummer kinda look. When I drive it which is seldom, I get people all the time wanting to buy it, but I never was ready. The steering wheel was on it when I bought it which is a VIP model. The weak areas on this Sammy are the tires that have good thread but are getting up in age, but no cracks, they are studded also. I had to remove the catalytic converter as it was rattling, but all else is bone stock. No accidents or rust anywhere, does have an alarm but I pulled the fuse, the booklets and keyfob are in the glove compartment. This is always kept in a climate controlled shop. I would truly drive this anywhere i.e. Alaska, South America where ever because that's how much faith I have in her albeit at 60, but it will run faster but not with me driving. Does not smoke, leak or burn oil. It used to be owned by an old school teacher (I know, I know) but that's the truth. It ruley is a great and cool Sammy in my view. Please don't ask the reserve as I will not answer your email, all other questions will be answered. Thanks again from an ex helicopter and veteran. God bless all that wear or have worn the uniforms of the Good Ole USAOn Apr-29-15 at 13:46:59 PDT, seller added the following information: I hope everyone understood my explanation on oil pressure, but I'll go over it in regards to the pics. one pic is water temp cold with a 60 lbs at idle, next is with it at operating temp 30 lbs at idle. One at operating temp at approx. 2400 rpm shows 60 lbs, all these pressures are great which indicate a great condition of the engine. I installed an oil pressure guage which is lower right of steering wheel, because I am an instrument scanner and love actual readings not idiot lights. Excellent driving and operating Samurai. Also I put in what I thought was the model, but I am not sure as it has the chrome bumpers, tach, a/c, maybe someone else could correct me or give some addl info on the model. Oh also the radio is nothing to write home about, but I just listen to talk radio anyway. On May-03-15 at 09:59:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I have to apologize, I noticed on one portion that says specifics on the vehicle on miles, it says 71,104, they are as in the description of 74,104 which is actual. I know it was only 3k miles difference, sorry, but at least in bold letters it did say the actual 74k which is in the the main descriptions. What age does to your vision, it's a pain in rear.
