I purchased this vehicle in 1980 after it had been in storage for 6 years. Always garaged since. Components and Accessories: Wire spoke, full size spare tire Solid mahogany dashboard Full top with three clear windows (Tan) Tonneau top (Black) Sliding side curtains (2) and side curtain storage behind seats Car cover Mechanicals: April 2015: new oil & filter; radiator flush & antifreeze refill; new water hoses; new fan belt 2014: Front suspension and hubs rebuilt (polyurethane bushings) 2014: Brakes and clutch rebuilt (new pads, shoes, wheel cylinder internals, master cylinder internals, new clutch slave cylinder, replace two sections of brake and clutch piping) have always used silicon fluid 2014: Carburetors rebuilt with teflon o-ring seals on jets to allow choke to work but not leak 2010: New steel fuel tank (fully coated inside to prevent rust) 2004: Engine and transmission complete rebuilds ( less than 2,500 miles on them) 2004: Interior (carpet, sides, seats, dash) Only major part not rebuilt during ownership was rear differential Other comments: Paint starting to show it's age (>30 years) with some minor fading, not noticeable beyond 5 feet Tires and tubes: plenty of tread (like new) but age of rubber may eventually become an issue, particularly on inner tubes around stems (tubes are 20+ years old) One rear bumper overrider has numerous dents (see picture) Driver side windshield pillar has much chrome worn off Useability & reliability updates: Generator replaced by Delco CS130 85 Amp alternator (original working generator included) Solid state fuel pump (original working fuel pump included) Converted to 12 volt negative ground system with dual 12 V batteries Battery switch (A, B, Both, Off) Electronic Smiths tachometer (original mechanical included) Extras MGA 1600 MkII grille Extra spin on hubs, with two modified for hub pulling Many other extra parts included No warranty given or impliedBuyer responsible for all taxes and licensing.
