I am selling this very rare car due to the future lose of my storage it is a 1964 Chrysler Newport 4dr hardtop wagon. I purchased this car from a man who had owed it for 34 years. He had lived in CA. where he had purchased it. He had used it as his personal driver for ten years and then used it as a Sunday driver. He rebuilt the engine which is the original 361 BB with upgraded elderbrock aluminum 4 barrel intake with new carb and also rebuilt the 727 torque flight transmission. He also did my up grades to the car throughout the years like new radiator, rebuilt complete braking system including dot5 brake fluid, replaced clock and it works, replaced carpet with original type, rechromed the bumpers front and rear, new alternator, starter, MSD distributer & coil. New exhaust from front to back with chrome tips. It has been touched up here and there. It is a real survivor and a very cool car. I put on the 20's and new tires and dropped the car 2" by putting spacer blocks in rear, and lowering torsion bar height to improve the stance of the car. This car drives and runs great will drive it anywhere. This car is ultra rare I am told that less than 1000 were built but I have no proof of this just what I have been told. The interior is in decent shape all the way around there is a small split in the front seat which should be seen in the photos. The wheels and tires have less than 1000kms on them. The AM radio works. The car will cruise at 100mph without issue may have a bit of a problem stopping in a short distance though due to original drum brakes. It has a power rear tailgate window, remote drivers mirror. Push button automatic shifter. Everything works on this beauty all lights, horn, heater, all lights last I checked. The car is very dry and clean on the undercarriage, no rust at all.
