Vehicle Detail
Selling my toy, it has 122k miles, has the bullet proof excellent running 4.0,with a 5 speed. It had rebuilt title from previous owner (rolled it up onto drivers side I was told when I bought it). All repairs were done before I brought it up to Michigan last year from North Carolina. I changed out all fluids when I got it immediatly to synthetics. It starts and runs excellent, no smoke or noises or oil burning ever. Drives straight and shifts through all gears like it should, transfer case shifts through all modes like it should and it stops fine too from speed with no vibration or pulling. Runs on the expressway like any other Jeep out there and has no vibrations doing so or speed wobbles or any of that. I previously had a 2010 JK jeep 4-door but, I always wanted a TJ, but they are rust buckets up here in Michigan, so I found a clean, rust free, solid Southern example and brought it home From North Carolina last summer. This winter it was stored inside so it hasn t seen our salty winters ever, as I have a daily driver and didnt want the Jeep to be subjected to our salt. I replaced the rims/tires with brand new BFG Muds 35x12.5x15 and Jegs Steelies X5. It recieved a new JKS body lift with adjustable JKS upper control arms in the front (has Skyjacker front lowers), Adjustable JKS front Tracbar new Rancho steering dampner, new OEM rear upper control arms and rear shock mounts. New serpentine belt. I spent the winter just freshening up everything and detailing the exterior so it was top notch for this season. Its got a 5 inch lift suspension, plus the small 1.25 body lift, 4.88 gears, Dana 44 rear and a 35 in front, Tom woods rear drive shaft, PIAA lights ( arent wired up, ran out of time), aftermarket HD bumpers front and rear with a swing out tire carrier, aftermarket stereo with subwoofer that sounds pretty good even with the doors off and top down. Top is a Pavement ends, in nice shape, tinted windows with all zippers working correctly and no leaks. Ive put about 50 miles it with the new tires/rims that were just replaced and it drives real nice, Ive put less than probably 1000 miles since I bought it last summer (we have other cars so this doesnt get driven much). I just putz around town and drive it to work with the doors off when its nice out. Ive never had it off road or in the snow. Its lived its life down south and it is remarkably clean underneath. The interior could use a detail job if the new owner felt necasarry. It starts and runs/drives excellent with no suprises and the body/paint are in excellent condition as well, it is a really nice Wrangler, air conditioning/heat work great, with no issues. I just dont need/use it like I thought I would and its a little impractical for the family I have. We bought a camper so I will be getting a HD truck when this goes away to tow the new toy.
