Absolutely as original as it gets. This 1956 Chevy was built in Kansas City and sold new in Abilene, Kansas to a local family that owned from that day forward. The car is 100% original and in amazing condition. It has ALWAYS been garaged and maintained locally. The body is amazingly straight, the chrome is original, the widows roll up and down effortlessly, the guages work, the lights work, the upholstry is incredible for its age, the floor is solid throughout, it starts on the first turn, shifts great and drives smooth. If you live anywhere close to Abilene, Kansas I encourage you to come take it for a spin and give it your personal inspection...and enjoy the Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home, National Greyhound Hall of Fame, Old Abilene Town, Dickinson County Heritage Center, Smokey Valley Railroad operating steam engine, our historic mansions and everything else Abilene has to offer.
