Extremely RARE! - 1968 Baldwin-Motion 427 Corvette recreation with rare Baldwin Motion Performance mail order parts. 1968 BALDWIN Motion Performance Phase III recreation. Big Block 4/speed. Nice paint and interior. New Cragars and tires. The car has a new 454/390 H.P. crate engine with a 3 year warranty with only test miles. NEW Champion aluminum radiator,new heater core,the car has had a new exhaust system installed,dash has been re-wired and car has a new radio with MP3 capable,New wood grain on dash center,instruments restored and new tack drive HEI distributor. The car has a 4 speed Muncie M-21 with Hurst Shifter and Hurst T-handle and the tranny works and shifts flawlessly-new clutch and pressure plate assembly and new headlight actuators. This car has a lot of Motion rare mail order parts (front spoiler,molded in side skirts,original rare Motion red flex fan,Very Rare Fly Eye Motion air cleaner and rare Motion mail order Edelbrock Tarantula side winder intake with new a Holly Avenger carb,new chrome one wire alternator,new motor mounts,water pump,water hoses and etc. .I want to sell as I had recent back surgery and find it hard to get in and out of due to the surgery.Here is a video of the car https://youtu.be/QlxnhHYKqakOn Apr-05-15 at 12:04:38 PDT, seller added the following information: The new crate engine was just installed along with a nice set of original aluminum finned Motion logo cast into them valve covers and the fly eye Motion air cleaner. It runs really smooth and has tons of torque. It is a 454 bored to 468 cubic inches and will really set you back in the seat ! And it has a warranty ! I have a ton of paperwork with this car from the past where it spent time in Germany and owned by a U.S.serviceman.,and another one of the previous owners said it was a real Motion but I have no way to prove that with no documentation,.but Joel Rosen , the man behind the Motion cars will or will not certify that the parts on the car came from MOTION but that requires a large fee for him to certify it and I have not really studied up or decided to do that so I am advertising the car as a recreation. If it is a real mail order Motion then that would be a big bonus as those cars bring big money at the auctions. I tried to ad new pictures of the engine but can not get them to load so if you want to see pictures of the engine just send me your e-mail address and I can send them to you along with a short video of the first start up.
