Vehicle Detail
Van is badged as Freightliner, same as Dodge or Mercedes. 1 Owner, bought new Spring 2006. Everything works, no codes. Engine completely rebuilt, has less than 14,000 miles. (A bad fuel problem caused major engine damage.) All servicing has been done at less than ASSYST (oil minder) system. Cargo area 13'9" cargo wall to inside back door. 6' inside ceiling. Tires: Continental Vanco2, 4 are excellent with less than 12,000 miles, 2 are approximately 50% worn. Paint: Hood repainted Spring 2014 (original paint peeled). All the rest is original with normal usage wear. Body damage - small dent in cargo side door, see picture, approximately 3"x2". No rust. Solid cargo to cab wall (factory). (Can be removed by drilling out pop-rivets.) Cargo tie down anchors (factory) one is broken. Cargo interior side paneling: factory, plastic. See pictures. Cargo floor decking, normal wear, no deep scratches or gouges. Cargo ceiling added: insulated and paneled with white plastic paneling. 7 way manual adjustable seats. Trailer hitch, dealer installed. 5000# rating. Does not have trailer brake controller but does have full factory installed wiring harness. On Apr-01-15 at 08:53:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Brakes New Pads and Rotors, less than 200 miles. CARQUEST premium pads (less brake dust than OE pads). Battery brand new this week, Mercedes style and size, 1000 cranking amps, 900 cold cranking amps. Engine rebuild notes: I used a machine shop that does a lot of diesel engines including Mercedes. Most damage was restricted to pistons and cylinder walls. #1 had to have a liner, all were bored to 1st oversize. Of course new pistons, rings and wrist pins. Head and valves were undamaged and flat. Minimal cleanup surface to remove gasket prints. Valves had a dressing only required. Cams and lifters had no wear marks at all and reused as is. Crankshaft was polished only, all journals double checked with plastigage and measured 1.5 thousandths clearance.
