For Sale: Black 2003 Ford Escape XLS 4 Door 4WD with 3.0 Liter V6 Engine and Automatic Transmission. It was originally purchased in Virginia in June of 2012 with roughly 90,000 miles and now has just over 139,000 miles. It has been a reliable daily driver with no major issues. Throughout our ownership it has had regular oil changes and maintenance. This vehicle has averaged in the low 20's for gas mileage. Heat, AC and 4WD work great. All power features function properly, including power windows, locks and mirrors. Keyless entry with vehicle alarm included. Engine runs strong, no ticks or smoke. Transmission shifts strong, no hesitation, slipping or abnormal noises. The exterior is in good condition with a few blemishes in the paint, including minor scuffs and dings as would be expected of a vehicle of this age. Small rust spot starting to show on driver rear fender and driver side running board. Tires are all season radials and still have a good amount of life left, as do the brakes. Comparable vehicles are being sold on Cars.com for $4,995 and is valued by Nada at nearly the same. I am asking $4,900, but will consider reasonable offers.
