2002 Honda XR250R Dirt bike. This bike probably has less than 50 hours on it.It has sat in my garage for the last 8 years without ever being started.The original tank developed a crack from sitting and I replaced it with abrand new acerbis high capacity after-market tank. This tank is literally lessthan a month old. I rebuilt the carburetor andadjusted the valve clearances. It now runs great. This thing is barely broken in.Other than the tank it is bone stock, original (including the tires) and complete.It has never been tweaked or modded in any way. History of the bike: I brought it from a place called Monmouth Cycles - Freedom Honda in Middletown NJ on 5/20/2003I rode it around my home a few times and rode it a couple of times at the Tower City trail site in Tower City PA.Bike sat for a couple years in my garage and I moved to Florida.Thought I would ride in Florida so I took it to Hap's Cycle Sales in Sarasota Florida so they could get it going on 12/29/2006They changed oil, plug, filter and got it running.The riding I thought I would do never happened.I started it a few times after the Hap's servicing (maybe 5) and rode it around my property.Then it sat again in my garage for a more years until a couple of weeks ago when I decided to sell it.So I started to check things out.Found leak in tank. Tried to fix unsuccessfully. Replaced with acerbis tank.I still have the original tank if for some reason you want it (maybe you are better at fixing them than me).Replaced air filter.I took off and used a carb kit to rebuild the carb. Cleaned carb body in ultrasound washer while it was off.When I put carb on, I kicked and kicked. It showed some signs of life but would not start and run reliably.I adjusted the valve clearances. After that it started and ran.That is where it sits now. Every couple of days I start it and ride it around my yard for a couple of minutes.Don't want the carb to start getting gummed up from sitting again. So basically while this bike is 13 years old it has seen almost no actual use which is why I say it is barely broken in. Feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to answer them.
