1998 Triumph Speed Triple

Bike has just under 16K miles on it. Bike has a Reconstructed title. It was laid over in a parking garage and suffered front wheel/fork damage and flairing damage. It was bought at auction from a Triumph mechanic who started to restore it. The bike passed inspection in both Pennsylvania and Maryland prior to me purchasing it. The bike needs a new clutch peddle and new rear view mirrors. Bike runs well however has slight valve tap. The prior owner (the mechanic) told me that I needed to replace the timing chain tensioner and make sure the timing is reset properly when the tensioner is installed. From what I have read online when a bike it laid over it is common for the mto jump timing. This bike did not jump timing, however with the extra strain placed on the tensioner it needs to be replaced so that it can hold proper tension which will fix the slight mistiming. Some minor paint touch ups were done prior to me buying the bike, you can see the condition in the photos. Bike has aftermarket PIA headlights, and aftermarket turn signals and a mirror on one side. Bike runs well, I want to downgrade though, the bike has more power than I'm comfortable with. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
