1964 Impala. 95% frame off restoration. Moving forces sale. Unable to finish. Needs carb and timing adjusted and detailed up. 25 years ago I bought this for my son as a high school car. Well he finished up college last year and I am still not done with it, lol... Some of the things I have done is complete dissemble frams wit installed all new bushings ball joints, tie rod ends. New big block coil springs so it sits up kinda reminds me of a gasser. I do have the old springs if you want a lower look. Rear end freshened up with new brngs and seals. Powerglide trans overhauled the shift kit installed and slight stall added to converter. 327 v-8 was completely taken apart and bored 30 over and all brngs piston and rings added. new 302 z28 cam and hydro lifters installed. New Hi perf GM pushrods. New GM vortech heads and intake added with new edelbrock polished 4 bbl carb. engine needs tuned and carb adjusted. New Radiator and heater added. Of course new hoses and belt. Rebuilt brakes front and rear. Body was completely taken down to bare metal and primed and painted with single stage DuPont. looks great with slight scratch on center of drivers door from kids bike ( I think as no one would fes up, lol).. New windshield added and the other glass looks great. This car has only been outdoors in 25 years just for a bath only. Has about 4 hours of run time only. What needs done is steering wheel restored or replace with aftermarket and exhaust. I have turbo mufflers install after headers just to keep the neighbors off my back. After market wheels and good rubber. there is a ton of other things I have done to this car. I loved the look of a plain impala and the SS interior so I had a buddy that let me have the interior from his donor SS. Complete interior from harmons includes SS bucket seat covers and foam. standard impala door panels. New carpet and headliner. The head liner does have a slight bad spot at the right rear. Have to look real hard to find it. This car is not perfect but I built it for my taste. I am needing to sell this car ASAP due to the move.
