This car is running every day. I've stopped driving it regularly. It needs some mechanical attention and I just have a new car itch. Once the work is done KBB private party value on this car would be near $9,000. It's loaded with every option they had that year, and I am the original owner. The repair work listed below is minimal, especially if you do it yourself. If you need a mechanic, you might invest about just over $1000 to put it back in great running condition. I just replaced a front spring and strut in November. Other than what's listed below, everything works and runs well Here is what it needs: Biggest issue - Valve lash adjusters are starting to tap which is why I've reduced my daily driving with it. They likely could be cleaned out but a new set of them is only $75.00. Compression is just fine and car accelerates great. It is possible it may be more than the Valve lash adjusters since I haven't opened it up but this is a known issue with Mitsubishi motors. I have the price on this car very low even if it should be more than the Valve Lash Adjusters. Blower motor rattles in summer with AC on. It's located behind glove box. easy to replace. Available online for less than $80.00 Will need front brakes and rotors soon. I have new brake pads included with the car. Car has a few blemishes and could use a buff an wax.
