Vehicle Detail
I bought this car back in October. It had sat in a garage for 2 years then outside under a cover for a year. It was dirty, I started cleaning it up. It will need further clean up. I finished cleaning up the trunk area and it came up nicely. It was musty smelling but the good cleaning got rid of it . I turned my attention to the interior. I cleaned up the door panels and dash and carpets. Still a lot of cleaning to be done in the interior but it's starting to clean up and smell better. You'll want to finish cleaning the interior and the engine compartment. The interior is in decent condition. The door panels are nice as is the dash. The passenger seat has no rips but the driver seat has a wear spot. The console armrest is in poor shape but I have a replacement in tan that is nearly perfect. You'll just have to dye it. You can get matching dye from Leatherworld Technologies. Their dyes are great matches and are easy to apply. The driver's window doesn'r go down but I believe it is the switch, the drivers side of the switch has no firmness to it. I am including a switch that was checked as working. The touchscreen works fine, but the radio just crackles. I spoke to a Reatta supply company and they said 99% that would be the radio module. You can get rebuilt ones from East coast Reatta. It has a glass, dealer installed electric sunroof by ASC. It works fine. I pulled the headlamp fuses. They worked fine with the dash switch but I pushed the alternate switch that sits under the cassette player and they stayed on. I have new switches for the headlights and they will come with the car. The exterior is straight abd rust free. the body is dirty but I believe the paint will come up well with a good cleaning and polishing. The driver's side fender is cracked and unrepairable but I have a nice clean maroon one that will come with the car. The bumpers are paint chipped but in good condition. The lower grill has some cracks on some of the fins. The trunk latch needs to be replaced but I have a replacement latch mechanism that will come with the car. The car starts with a touch of the key and idles smoothly and there are no unusual noises. I have only neighborhood driven it but brakes work fine and trans shifts good. It has low miles and while a good parts source, it could easily be put back on the road. If you want to know if you could drive it home- I guess you could, the tires all seem to have half their tread left. But I wouldn't unless you were close by. Ask any questions. thanks.p.s. You may pay for the entire car with Paypal if you wish, but please add 3% for my fees. Thanks!p.s.s. You are going to want to replace the hheadliner as it is sagging and dirty. Listen folks, I am getting alot of questions about this car, wanting to know evey intricate detail of compression, suspension. This car is being sold for 175.00 above what I can get for scrap here in Philly. And please read the ad. I have never gotten so many questions for a 650.00 car before. I may not answer them all because some are just too silly.
