For sale by auction is this 1984 Landrover 90. It was sold and then buyer did not pay. Please read everything below.So here's the deal...I had originally brought this into US after buying it from an ebayer 12 months ago. Between 9 months and now, guess what...kid came along. So this project vehicle has to go now...darn kids! Per EXACT LISTING OF WHEN I BOUGHT IT, NOTHING HAS CHANGEDIt is obviously now 29 years old, so don't expect AC (but you can add it) :) but it has the much better 2.5 turbo diesel engine in which is coupled to a five speed manual gearbox. It has covered 201,000 miles and has been regularly maintained. It is of a military spec with the extended bumpers and the reinforced roof. There are 2 seats in the front with a cubby box in the middle and there are also 2 x bench seats in the rear which means another 4 people can be carried in the rear. The bodywork is straight with no major dents. The paintjob has been done by hand and is not the best finish in the world but at the end of the day its a Landrover. There has been a good nudge bar fitted and also a good set of spotlights which all look very good indeed.It starts and drives and the motor runs nicely with there being no nasty noises etc. The 5 speed manual gearbox is all good and all gears change as they ought to with no problems at all. The clutch, brakes and steering all operate as they ought to.Like I said, there are a few light marks here and normal rust for this old of UK vehicle but this will make a good base for someone to work from. If you know anything about these vehicles IT IS AN AWESOME project vehicle if you are into these vehicles, they are rare but workhorses. Parts are available with several large US Rover parts places. It gets easily 30mpg as it has the much better 2.5 turbo diesel engine which are more reliable than the 2.25 diesels and provides much more power so better on the Freeway.There is no reserve so someone will get a bargain!!! NOTE:This vehicle still has the UK title, I did not want to spend the money to get it titled in the US yet since I haven't used it at all and had to sell it before I could. If you want me to get a US title for it, it will add additional money to the final auction price due to my state going off of vehicle value in their system and my time to do it. Vehicle is 110% legal and you can see the UK title in the pics. On Feb-28-15 at 10:30:19 PST, seller added the following information: TITLE NOTES: Since everyone has been asking me about this and honestly this is not what I do for a living, I figure I would try to answer the title questions. From my understanding registering a 25 year and older vehicle from UK to US requires only proof of ownership and the documents passing through customs and bill of lading, etc. All of these I have. NOW, the question comes in since I am the person who currently has proof of ownership, can I just assign this ownership over the buyer of this auction or do I have to title it here and then transfer it over to you? This I do not know but in everything I read, this shouldn't be an issue. Worst case I am going to call a couple places that import Rovers and see what they have to say. At the end of the day, IF I HAVE to title it in the US first before transferring it over to you, I will do that and we will figure that into the final cost.
