Good looking bullet nose Studebaker ! I bought it in November, 2011 from a classic car dealer in St. Louis, MO. for $11,000. I bought it because it was original, which meant my father and grandfather, who worked on the assembly line at the time, helped to put this car together. I was hoping my father would drive it, which he did, but only for a few miles. It has since been setting in my back yard. I start it up once a month and let it run and will occasionally drive it around the block, but no further. I often have to adjust the carburetor to keep it going, it's 64 years old and has a mind of it's own ! The engine itself runs very smoothly. I'm selling it because my dad (89) no longer drives and my wife is tired of looking at it, even though it is always covered. I have reluctantly chosen a price considerably lower than what I paid, but hopefully it will mean a quick sale. Sale also includes matching hat, chair and umbrella. Paint is in great shape except for a few chips on both sides of trunk lid and the top of the hood. There is no rust that I can find. White sidewall tires look new, but original hub caps have lost their luster. There are a few scratches on the bumpers, but they still shine. Also, the radio does not work, but I'm guessing its because the antenna is broken off. I bought a new one but have not installed it. Original seat covers are in good shape, but someone has replaced the cover on the drivers side back. Also, the interior cloth is a bit worn in some places, but still in good shape considering age and use. Purchase is through PayPal. Buyer responsible for pick up.
