Vehicle Detail
Probably one of the finest examples of a fully optioned, all original paint, top and body 986 Box you're ever going to find. Car has every desirable option and upgrade (over $7K in upgrades alone), totally de-ambered (doesn't look old or dated), is straight, and drives (and looks) like new. No dings anywhere!Don’t let the mileage put you off, as it’s actually low mileage for the year. MY ’98 & ’99 Boxster's are legendary for going well over 200K miles without any problems (source: Consumer Reports).Porsche dealer completely checked out my car and gave it a full "no problems" report (pictured w/tire receipt, my lic plate & sig scribbled out). Only adjustment was tire pressures (I run it at 31/38).Carfax reports one minor accident, it was a parking garage mishap that was reported to the LAPD because it was a hit and run. The front bumper cover was slightly cracked, and expertly repaired by the ins co. NADA retail book is $9,250 (without the upgrades). Carmax offered $8,000 (cash buy) for it just last week (after checking it out pretty thoroughly). The car comes as pictured, plus the CA clear title, a master key, a Porsche 2 button remote key, original OM + case, and a Durametric (no VIN limit) Pro v. 5.0 *like* diagnostic cable with software (a clone I believe, it came with the car). It reports no over revs ever, or any other faults (current or previously stored). Nothing else is included. There are no instrument panel warning/faults indicated. All the dash warning/fault lights (including the air bag and CEL light) do a bulb check and then go off on engine start (pictured). Oil and Filter always changed every 6 mo’s or 6K miles (Mobil 1). Transmission serviced in mid 2013 (no faults), new wider Michelin ZR tires and new wider (staggered) rims added less than 100 miles ago – rear tires have less than 1K miles on them.I’m selling it under the same sales conditions I felt comfortable purchasing it under: There is no warranty expressed or implied on this vehicle, and this 1999 Porsche Boxster is being sold as is, where is, and the sale is final. Note that I've added a photo without the Euro H/L covers (as previously requested), but the car will be delivered with. Please see my previous eBay listing for a more detailed list of all the various options and upgrades fitted to this car.
