1938 Chevy pickupAll original previous restoration What a gem! All original restoration almost complete, you never find them like this! This truck went thru a restoration 10 years ago and was 95% when the owner died. The engine, trans, rear end were all rebuilt. The entire suspension system was rebuilt and replaced. Fuel tank was cleaned and resealed and all new fuel lines installed. The entire brake system was rebuilt with new lines as well. All new wiring harness was installed. The truck starts right up immediately even when cold, it runs and drives like a brand new truck would in 1938, tons of fun to drive with people giving thumbs up all the time. There has been less than 500 miles put on the truck since its restoration! We flushed all the fluids and changed out the seals, new spark plugs and a battery. It goes down the street straight, handles tight (for a 38' truck!), and brakes surprisingly well, everything works like new! There is no major rust on this truck anywhere. The entire frame is spotless as seen in the pics. The floors are like new as seen in the pics. The cab corners are perfect with no rust at all. There was a little rust on the passenger door along the bottom and in front of the door on the bottom of the cowl as seen in the pics. It was treated and stopped. There is also a little on the front of the door on the cowl driver side as well. Thats it, no other rust anywhere on the entire truck. The truck is pretty straight, the fenders have a little bondo but not much at all. The entire truck was left in a red and black 2 tone primer, the owner died before he as able to complete the restoration, that is why there is no bed either, that was the last thing he was going to do. Speedometer works. All the gauges are supposed to work but are not hooked up yet. It still needs both door glass and and the rear glass, very easy to get since they are just flat pieces. It still needs its wood bed installed, the needed cross bars are there. And that is it. We are super busy here at the shop so here is the chance to buy this truck as is before we start restoring it some time in the future...
