For sale is a 1974 Jaguar XLJ6. I'm posting this for my friend who is too old to know how to use Ebay. Therefore I might not have all the answers to your questions, but I will do my best to find out if you send me questions. This is the long wheel base Jaguar so the wheelbase is 4 inches longer than the regular XJ6. This car was purchased 3 years ago. It ran and drove perfectly then. Since then its only been sitting. The battery has died completely. I hooked it up to some cables and the engine turns like it should. It wouldn't start though. With the power on I didn't see the fuel gauge move so I'm not sure if it just needs some fuel or if something else is preventing it from starting. I'll try to find some time during the next few days to get some fresh gas and see if it's just currently out of fuel. I will post an update once I've done that. This car does need TLC. More of a project car. Not much rust so with a little help this car could be really nice. The interior is nice. The front right tire does not hold air. UPDATE 2/20/2015 - OK, So I just got some gas for the car and got it started. Had it running for about 20 minutes. Smells like old gas, but it's now running. I took some short videos of the car running and with us driving it back and forth on the parking lot. So this car is now a RUNNER :-).
