This is a re-listing due to a bad buyer. Time has come to pass my 1972 FJ55 to someone new. I am the 3rd owner and have records from the first owner along with a vintage parts catalog. The 2nd owner changed her paint from white/blue to white/green. Since getting her I have focused on getting her safe, reliable and comfortable; having the carburetor, break booster and radiator rebuilt, the emergency break and shoes replaced and the exhaust manifold gasket replaced along with new upholstery kit from SOR among other things. She has a little more than 83,000 miles on the odometer and and to the best of my knowledge is has only rolled over once. I have put close to 20,000 miles on her since getting her in 2006. She likes being driven and is able to hit 70 on the freeway and pull up most hills without slowing much and at idle, she pulls 18 inches of vacuum. She is fun to take off road and has some trail patina as can be seen in the pictures. She is a stock 3 speed with most of the original equipment including the tool kit (with most of the tools) and hydraulic jack with only added item being an Audiovox FM converter and everything seems to work. The original owner added a 24 gal auxiliary tank in 1974. The interior is original except for the upholstery with the headliner having a couple of small tears along with one of the door panels.
