ART HOUSE AUTO is pleased to present this 1977 Porsche Targa for sale. This Porsche was and currently undergoing a complete and thorough restoration by Porsche certified mechanics. We purchased this car in 2012 with the intent to preserve and restore this classic Porsche. We started this project in 2013 with taking the body to bare metal and repainting to factory black using PPG paints. This was a personal project and with more and more customers we have had to put this project on hold. Most of the hard work has already been done and is ready for a new owner to finish this restoration. We have all the glass, targa and body seals as well as the front fascia, bumper to body seal, bellows, interior, original spare, targa top etc. This car will come with NEW interior carpet set, door panels, rear parcel shelf, and trunk carpet set. We have two sets of wheels that come with this car, an original set of 1977 wheels and a set of club sport wheels and tires. The interior seats will need to be restored or recovered. The engine is complete and was low on compression a year ago and we only removed the plugs to do a leak down test. There is no transmission with this car. These air cooled Porsches have literally skyrocketed in value in the last couple of years. This car would be a great investment. What you see is what you get. Selling as is where is.
