Cars2Charities will provide all California buyers with either a Smog Certificate at the cost of $60 (paid by the buyer) or a "certificate of non-compliance". Smog test will be done after vehicle is sold and determined that California buyer has purchased the vehicle. Please call after you purchase the vehicle to request the smog test be performed. Vehicle info: YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 1988 FORD E150 CLUB WAGON XLT VAN. THE VAN WAS DONATED TO A LOCAL NON PROFIT CHARITY. THE VAN IS WELL EQUIPPED: V8 AUTOMATIC 2 WHEEL DRIVE XLT PACKAGE POWER WINDOWS POWER DOOR LOCKS TILT CRUISE CD PLAYER TINTED WINDOWS 2 TONE PAINT CLOTH INTERIOR THE VAN IS IN EXCEPTIONALLY NICE SHAPE FOR ITS AGE. IT WAS DONATED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER. SHE PURCHASED THE VAN TO GO CAMPING AND ON LONGER TRIPS. THE VAN WAS KEPT IN THE GARAGE FOR MOST OF ITS LIFE. IT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RUST AND HAS NEVER BEEN IN A ACCIDENT. THE VAN RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL. WE PICKED UP THE VAN FROM THE DONOR AND DROVE IT BACK TO OUR FACILITY WHICH IS OVER 150 MILES AWAY. IT RAN GREAT. THE VAN STARTS UP AND RUNS STRONG EVERY TIME. THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH AND THERE ARE NO MAJOR LEAKS OR ISSUES ON THE VAN. USUALLY THESE OLDER VANS MAKE ALL SORTS OF CREAKING, OR RATTLING NOISES, NOT THIS ONE. IT IS A VERY SOLID VAN. THE VAN WAS WELL MAINTAINED AND CARED FOR. ALL THE POWER WINDOWS, DOOR LOCKS, CD PLAYER WORK FINE. THE A/C IS ICE COLD. THE EXTERIOR IS IN VERY NICE SHAPE AND THE PAINT IS IN OVERALL GOOD SHAPE EXCEPT FOR THE HOOD AND THE BOTTOM OF THE BLUE SHOWING SOME FADING. THE VAN HAS ORIGINAL PAINT ON IT. THE INTERIOR IS THE CLOTH BLUE INTERIOR. THE SEATS, DOOR PANELS AND CARPET IN THE FRONT IN GREAT SHAPE. THE REAR CARPET HAS SOME WEAR AND HOLES IN IT (SEE PICTURES AND THE OTHER BENCHES ARE MISSING. THE VAN HAS ALREADY PASSED THE CALIFORNIA SMOG CHECK AND IT HAS NON-OPERATION PLATES. THE PLATES HAVE BEEN REMOVED BECAUSE DONOR HAD PERSONALIZED PLATES ON THE VAN. Payment and Fees: Each vehicle will be charged a $150 buyer fee on top of the winning bid. After purchase, a $150 deposit must be paid through Paypal within 24 hours of purchase. The deposit must be made on Paypal even if you are local and will be coming in to pick up the vehicle yourself. The balance of the winning bid and buyer fee will be paid at the time of pick up if you are local. All payments except the deposit will need to be certified funds only. This is: Cash, Cashiers check or money order. Delivery of your purchased vehicle: Vehicles must be picked up within 3 business days of your winning bid. If vehicle is not paid and picked up, a storage fee of $10 per day will be assessed on the purchase. If you are making transport arrangements with Cars 2 Charities, you will not be assessed a storage fee. Please call to make arrangements if you are having difficulty picking up the vehicle.
