Up for grabs is a 1955 BN1 Austin Healey 100-4 with a complete restoration started. This is a complete car, and should make for a straight forward restoration. A frame off restoration was started in 1993. The car came to us from a customer who couldn't continue with the restoration. It has been stored inside since the restoration was stalled. It's dusty, but lots of hard and expensive work has already been started. The frame has been sandblasted and repainted Healey Blue. The body has also been repaired, straighten and primed. Primer is a rough coat. It will need some work to get it painted, but not much. It is very straight, no major dings or dents. The car is mechanically complete. The suspension has been restored, and it rolls easily. The engine is apart, and some engine work has been started, including new pistons. Engine tag is missing, was probably removed and lost when the engine work was started in the 90s. Transmission has been disassembled but is complete. Comes with a new wiring harness, partially installed. Car comes with seats, but all upholstery work will need to be done. To the best of my knowledge all the pieces required to put this car back together are there, although it is possible that some small parts could be missing, or will need to be replaced. Included in sale are all receipts, restoration photos, etc that I have. Car comes with Bill of Sale as the title was lost by a previous owner. I am willing to transport the car and parts within a few hundred miles for a fee, but I will not arrange shipment of the car. Please contact me prior to bidding if you will want the car transported.
