I've owned many XJS's and know exactly what it takes to go from an "average" XJS to an "Oustanding" XJS! Most rear-ends will be substantally sagging Even though with only 29k miles, these small springs have been holding the car up for 23 years...they get tired!! Paint appears original, body is slick and smooth. There was a minor paint touchup done that will be hard to discover! New engine water pump, radiator hoses, clamps, and all fan belts The water pump bearing had a slight growl...And replacing belts and hoses just makes good sense! Starts easily, fast idles when cold, RPM's drop to 800 once warmed up. No warning lights, bells, or whistles during or after normal start up. Car eagerly accelerates, responding to your desire.....Automatic shifts smooth, stops quickly. Exceptionally quiet body noise for a convertible - No clicks, pops, groans, thumps, etc. All interior courtesy lamps work when doors open. All exterior lamps are fully functional. Electric windows and electric top works perfectly. Trip computer face is flawless (most this age are heat-fogged). Rear window defogger (wires on glass) works fine. OEM Cruise Control engages and holds perfect speed. OEM AM/FM/Stereo Radio with Cassette is profesionally rebuilt. Rear deck (trunk) lid is flawless. (Many in this era are rusted along outer bottom edge) Newer battery in trunk, plus small trickle charger permanently mounted. Includes original Jaguar tool kit in trunk pouch, and all owners' manuals Includes brand-new, never used spare tire on mag rim (Rim is a Mag, identical to mounted tires) Includes canvas OEM parade cover, aka "Boot" (covers the retracted convertible top) Includes several repair manuals on CD Did I mention this car only has 29k miles? Could be a car....could be a good shellackin') This car has been garage kept since new and has just been detailed to a stunning finish. (Never ever been detailed until now?)
