It is powered by a genuine 291 Desoto hemi from a1955 Desoto, the engine was professionally rebuilt with all new parts and gaskets. Its backed by a 700r4 overdrive transmission and fed by a 500 CFM Edlebrock carburetor. It has drum breaks in the rear with disc brakes up front and a compact power brake booster from a 1973 Toyota truck. It has a full gauge set including tach, and runs an electric fuel pump. The wheels are original 16 inch ford wires with military reproduction tires from Cooker tire. It has a 1940 mercury front axle and a 1955 Desoto rear end with 3.73 gears. The fenders are from a 1924 Oakland and the running boards come from a 1936 LaSalle hearse. The headlights are from a 1929 Chrysler and have modern bulbs in them. With the aluminum radiator it always stays cool and runs strong. The body modifications include a 7 inch chop, a 3 inch channel and one of a kind gull wing doors. The frame was hand made and the interior as well. It is a wild experience to drive at only 47 inches tall to the top of the roof.
