I am selling my beautiful 2001 E46 BMW M3. It is everything a serious e46 m3 enthusiast looks for! 6 speed manual coupe with white the rare white exterior with black interior! This car is in amazing condition, not just for it's age, but in general! It looks better than most one year old cars! It runs and performs amazingly as well! I have done a bunch of maintenance recently as well to keep it performing as it should.- rear brakes and pads- motor mounts- transmission mounts- driveshaft guibo - driveshaft center support bearing- driveshaft cv to diff seal- vanos solenoid rebuiit with new Beisan solenoid coil pack- New Bilstein shocks and struts- k&n cold air intake- fresh oil change / filter 100 miles ago castrol 10w 60-CSL wheels with ZERO curb rash, tires are in like new shape, big 275/30 r19 in the rear! 245/35 r19 in front! If you are currently in the market for an e46 m3 and you are shopping around, ask the owner if the mounts and driveshaft work listed above had been done to the car, if not, it is not cheap work to be done and it is inevitable that these parts will have to be replaced due to the age of these cars. It is maintenance that is often overlooked that can end up with dangerous or cause even more costly consequences. Luckily the driveshaft is in great shape, a lot of these cars with neglected maintenance stated above can end up needing a whole new driveshaft since you cannot rebuild the u joints on these driveshafts. The same goes for the vanos solenoid, this is a necessary rebuild on these cars. The subframe is NOT cracked on this car as well, another question you should ask other owners before buying because it is a very common and expensive issue to fix.
