I bought this car from the son of an older gentleman in North Carolina almost a year ago and he bought the car new, he took care of the car very well but got some nicks on the farm. The car had 128 k miles when I bought it and it has 140k miles today. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this car and the interior is in good shape with no cracks on dash. The headliner is drooping. I did a lot of work to the car to get it in great mechanical shape in the past year. These are the new parts that I had a Mercedes mechanic install... glow plugs o rings for the injector nozzles Vacuum pump alternator serpentine belt tie rods tires and alignment battery I wanted the car running good so my wife would not have any problems and the car runs great...32 mpg It is a very good driving car The paint is fading and needs a paint job to look good but runs and handles great The AC is blows cold air (134A) and all the windows work just fine, original radio and CD player in trunk work great. If you paint this car it will look Great or a great driver as it is. When I put the car on ebay last week I had problems with the photos and thought a had a reserve on the car. I called ebay to get help with the reserve and they told me that there was no way to get a reserve on the ad and I would need to cancel the ad and do another ad if I wanted a reserve. Since I bought the car last Feb. for $2200. and have spent $2800. on the mechanical work in the last 10 months...I will not sell the car for the small amount that has been bid so far. Ebay said I could cancel the ad 8 hours from the time it expires, I will see what the bidding in Sat morning and make a decision on what to do. I don't expect to get all the money back that I have invested in the car but if I must give it away I will keep it as a spare and get it painted myself...I will give it to me !
