Vehicle Detail
This car would be a great car to restore. The body on this car is in truly superior condition, bought new in California, it still has the California tags. I have a clear Florida title in my name. can't tell you what happened to the original engine, transaxle, or bumpers, they were already gone when I purchased the car. A rusty or wrecked type 4 car or bus donor would be the perfect fix. If I had the time I would like to install a Porsche 914 engine with a Suburu transmission, or I have even seen a 911 conversion on youtube. I like the front seats but they are not original to the car and the back seat is a poor fit. The steering feels good, as do the tires and glass. This is a great 2 door wagon project that won't kill your budget with body repairs. I don't live in Florida however I have a full time tenant at the location who may be able to help with the sale. I will be here for a couple weeks until Janurary 24, at the same time as the Kissimmee Mecum auto auction, and I should have plenty of time to finish the sale of this car. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE CALL- 240 338 1959, I'll return calls. If you wish to see the car just ask, I'm about 20 minutes east of Orlando International Airport, just off the Bee Line. This is a no reserve auction, if you want to see the car first, let me know. I won't end the auction early if I have someone in transit, but if you come look and what to make an offer I might as long as no one else is in route to look..On Jan-18-15 at 05:01:32 PST, seller added the following information: I would prefer bidders take advantage of my offer to discuss details of this car before placing a bid, I can even send additional pictures. as stated this truly is a great project, but the devil is always in the details.
