For Sale1979 ws4 trans am6.6 L auto.1979 Pontiac trans am with the original 6.6L 403 motor and turbo 350 transmission. Rare color combo this was originally sunfire yellow with black interior. This car is a ws4 package which is the 6.6 with the deluxe interior and posi rear. If you are looking for a survivor to restore or drive this car would not take much. Car is really decent for its age it was sitting in a garage since 1994. I owned this car 21 years ago and purchased it off the original owner which he had just gotten it back because the car was stolen and found shortly after someone wanted a joy ride, so title does show reconstructed title do to this I was told. I then sold the car in 1993 and its new owner did not drive it much before it was left in his garage for over 20 years, I recently just found the car and bought it back to restore myself but really do not have the time or funds at the moment. Car does run and motor sounds good the transmission does go forward and backwards but I have not driven down the road or had it running long enough to make sure transmission is good.The exhaust system is good with no leaks,tires are still in great condition with about 10/32 . From what I can see so far the car will need driver side floor pan,brakes lines,front brake calipers,fuel lines and some other body work shown in pics. The frame is solid everywhere no rotted holes in the rear frame rails where they usually rust out and quarter panels,trunk pan are solid. Interior is in good condition for its age as seen in pics but will need some love here and there such as new rug driver side door panel, driver side seat missing bolts, seat foam is soft and dash pad is cracked. The car did sit for a long time so will require someone to go over the entire car before it will be road worthy again. Don't miss out this car is very hard to find, most of these if you find them are really hacked up or just really expensive to buy.
