CLEAN BOX A ARIZONA TITLE. original drivetrain replaced with a OM617.950 Euro spec. about 7 years ago, have documents. Engine/trans pulled from wrecked '79 300SD with ~100k miles. currently drivetrain has about 165k miles. little blowby, no smoke, and good oil pressure.....valve adjustments are always done at 10k intervals. timing chain had no descerable strech, so only the tensioner spring was replaced. runs, drives ,stops, and runs perfectly! would not hesitate to drive cross-country (always wanted to do that is this car) has been a 3 owner daily driver for the past 30 years ACCII Climate system WORKS PERFCT( hard to find) Servo is updated aluminum body no cooling leaks. compressor clutch bearing locked up recently. so that would need to be fixed.But thats easy. all the expensive stuff is taken care of the sunroof and all power windows operate as they should (hard to find) original body work and paint. THIS AUCTION IS NO RESERVE ONLY! get a steal! its hard to find a good W116 Diesel. most americans junked these poor cars On Jan-17-15 at 09:13:00 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: forgot to add ALL FLUIDS ARE RECENT. brake fluid, P/S, trans & filter, diff, and engine oil 1k mi ago, new fuel filter 3 mon ago lots of mechanical work done over the years. yes the body is 334,000 but most of the suspension has been replaced one time or another recent parts include: new motor mounts, new brake lines all around, new oil cooler hoses, rebuilt vacuum pump. driveline bushings and flex discs are intact and pilable, wheels DO NOT have play when shaken 3' to9" oclock, or 12' to 6' o clock tires are all recent with more that 50 percent tread TRANSMISSION SHIFTS PERFECT ONLY OIL LEAK IS FROM IP mounting gasket (engine oil) THIS CAR LEAKS NOTHING ELSE. (no difff seeps, no trans drips, no P/s box or pump leaks, no cooling system leaks!)
