Up for sale is a 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Targa, originally a Southern California Automobile. Offered here today in very desirable triple black. This is a very rare Porsche as only 1329 964 Carrera 4 Targas were ever made from 1989 to 1994. This Porsche is in extremely nice condition and very well sorted. Properly maintained and well looked after, this car just feels right. The body is completely rust free and straight. Powered by a 3.6 liter 6 cylinder boxer engine producing 247 horsepower coupled by Porsche's G60 5 speed Gearbox with All wheel drive not only is it a blast to drive but gives you extreme confidence in hard cornering. Quite an amazing car using many of the same technologies developed in Porsche's supercar, the 959. Worth mentioning -- This is the very desirable 3.6 liter twin spark engine. Condition: Body: Extremely straight and 100% rust free. All Porsches of this era were galvanized proving themselves extremely resilient to rust. The multilayer black paint has a mirror like shine. No major scratches or dents anywhere on the car. Couple stone chips and one minor ding on the hood, hardly noticeable. Also recently received brand new windshield weatherstripping and Targa Bar Seals. Engine: Recent top end rebuild costing many thousands of dollars to make sure the car is properly sorted. New rings, seals, etc... with all documented receipts included, maintenance records from 1990 to 2014, as well as the original Porsche owner's handbook and booklet (please see photos) will be given to the buyer. Transmission/transaxle: All fully functional with very smooth passage through all gears. No grinding or whining. Wheels and Tires: Turbo Twist style wheels with nearly new BFGoodrich G-Force tires on all 4 corners. A PPI was done for this vehicle, as well as a thorough Carfax Certification, proving the car is clean and in great condition and never was involved in any accident ever. These will be made available to the buyer. Interior: Leather seats in perfect condition, no rips/tears anywhere. Door panels are original and in great condition. Rear shelf for Targa top storage.
