1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe The second generation (C2) Corvette, which introduced the Sting Ray model was designed by Larry Shinoda. The 1963 Corvette received a major restyling that included an independent rear suspension, twin hidden headlights and was most known for the large back window that was split down the center with a body colored bar. This was the only year for the “split window” and as such the most desirable to have. There were 10,594 Coupes made with black on black being one of the lower production color combos and the hardest to find. This example is a correct black on black car with a era correct 327-340 HP engine and correct 4 speed transmission that has a older restoration but still looks great. It has power steering, am/fm radio, correct era side pipes, classic A/C and a very straight body. It is an absolute blast to drive and has been recently been serviced for a turn-key driving experience. This is a very solid car that you can enjoy and drive.
