Vehicle Detail

1967 Chevelle ConvertibleStock 396 BB bored .30. New Edelbrock 750 carb and Edelbrock performance manifold. New MSD electronic ignition. Turbo 400 Transmission built by Jackson Performance Transmissions of Hendersonville NC.12 bolt rear end 2:73 gears. Shes set up to be a cruiser not a bruiser. All new interior including seat foam and all the frames were painted as well. New stage 2 suspension with 4 link Hotchkis adjustable rear and Hellwig rear sway bar.. New front disc brake conversion, master cylinder/vacuum booster, rebuilt rear drums and new emergency brake system. New MagnaFlow complete stainless exhaust. All new bumpers grille work and exterior trim including door handles, side mirrors, door & trunk locks and emblems. Painted in original trim tag color Tuxedo Black with Red Bolero interior, The power top looks pretty good on the outside but the liner is dry rotted and starting to deteriorate and is 21 years old. All new brake light, turn signal and back-up lenz's and headlights. New BF Goodrich tires and powder coated rims including the spare in the trunk. New gas tank and fuel sending unit and ⅜" gas line. New SS gauge cluster. New water pump, fuel pump and alternator. New windshield, stainless wiper arms and all new weatherstripping and window seals throughout except the convertible top. Floor pans and trunk pan all appear to have been replaced and are solid. As for items that do not function as they should, they are as follows. 1. The radio although new does not work properly. It seems to work the longer it's on and warms up. The volume goes in and out. 2. The blinker tach although new does not work. It lights up when the lights are turned on and the blinker functions but the tach will not move. It worked fine for about 650 miles. 3. There is a very small area of bubbling in the body work on the lower passenger rocker where the factory joined the quarter panel to the lower rocker. I believe that there was some type of contaminant when the joint line was filled because there was no rust. The car won 2nd place out of 142 entries recently at a local car show “Fenders in the Field”. This car was originally a straight 6 cyl with 2 speed powerglide transmission that cloned to a SS car. The engine is a true SS 325hp out of a 1967 SS Impala and can be verified from the block stamp. The car was purchased in Arizona and shipped to NC in 2010. The car has approximately 758 mile on a 3 year old restoration. I have over $35000.00 invested. The car runs great and drives like new. There is no power steering or AC. I have little to no time for the car and is apparent by the 758 miles I put on it in 3 years. Come and take a look and test drive. I will do what I can to aide in shipping the car if you like. You can see by my feedback rating that I am an honest seller / buyer and have described this car to the best of my ability. I have a clean North Carolina title in hand.
