1961 Cadillac 62 Series 2 Door Convertible. 8 cylinder with automatic transmission and only 41,000 miles. AM/FM, power brakes, windows and steering and power top,radio and clock work. Runs and drives mint, needs minor repair. The car was in the process of going through a total frame off restoration. eaerything was new.the whole interior was new but the bag melted on new recovered seat covers, I have a receipt for $1,350.00 for all new weather striping. 85% of work has all ready been done.some parts are missing..insurance company paid off a large amount. has insurance title. RUST FREE CAR MOTOR AND FRAME ARE MATCHING NUMBERS.. On Jan-01-15 at 12:21:42 PST, seller added the following information: CAR RUNS AND DRIVES. THE CAR WAS IN A GARAGE FIRE. THE CAR DID NOT BURN!! IT ONLY GOT SMOKE DAMAGE.. On Jan-04-15 at 10:40:34 PST, seller added the following information: This car was undergoing a 6 year restoration, it was totally taken apart down to bare frame. Frame reassembled with new parts suspension, brakes, rebuilt motor rebolted back to original body. It was being put back together the convertible roof has been all restored new rubber, canvass top missing. The vehicle starts right up runs, drives and stops. It was in a garage fire the garage burnt THE CAR DID NOT BURN!! The car just sustained minimal smoke damage. All new interior were wrapped in bags and as you can see in pics some pieces of the bag melted to the seats. All the parts that are missing grill, headlight bezels, front parking lights, tail light lenses-pad door switches. These items were not located.. The trunk is full with a lot of new rubber for the rest of car. What you see in pics is what you get. Only thing rusted is the heads of bolts. This is a rust free car. Again car was in garage fire, garage burnt car did not!!!!
