PRICE REDUCED: PRICED FOR QUICK SALE. Greetings, I didn't expect to re-list this because my neighbor said he was going to buying it for his wife but didn't end up qualifying for a loan at his bank. So here's a second chance. I'm moving back to lower Manhattan and sadly, can't keep this amazing car—I swore I'd never sell it, but here's a rare opportunity to own this truly wonderful automobile.. if I had to describe this car with just a few words, I'd say it is the perfect blend of Performance (amazing pick-up: 0-60 in 5 seconds) and Luxury (Fully Loaded: plus $2500.00 in-dash DVD Rom/Nav Pkg) along with superb reliability (Subaru's last forever and their engine's can go to very high miles so this car has a long future ahead) and their superb Safety record (best in class top safety pick front and side: 2006 Legacy is a 'Top Safety Pick' Gold Award winner from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Top Safety Pick winners reflect an elite fraction of the car market.). This beauty is a real pleasure to drive. It's extremely responsive and stealthy (250 hp). Chances are, that if you're viewing this listing, you're on the market for a Legacy GT and know precisely why it isn't like other Legacy models (or Subaru's) and far more valuable (esp models from 2005-2009 which are highly sought after), this car needs no introduction, but for anyone else unfamiliar with these amazing cars, you're welcome to ask me any questions. I'm honest and straightforward. I purchased this car brand new in New Jersey at Morristown Subaru because they were the only one's who had this exact car and color that was stock fully loaded with the Nav Pkg--I literally drove it off their showroom floor. it was the Last model towards the end of the year. SERVICED EVERY 3000 MILES; ALL SERVICE RECORDS AVAILABLE. GARAGED, WASHED AND WAXED REGULARLY. THE DEALER SAID IT WAS NOT ACTUALLY SUBJECT TO THE BRAKE LINE RECALL BECAUSE IT WAS NOT LOCATED IN THE SNOW STATES BUT THEY STILL PERFORMED THE ANTI CORROSION ON THE LINES ANYWAY TO COMPLY. this car is beautiful inside and out. I can assure you this car is an absolute tip-top condition. I firmly believe that anyone who get's this car is to be considered lucky. This car has never let me down. I'm fairly certain that anyone who test drives it will take it on the spot. seeing is believing. I would never buy a car I didn't see and drive first and have a licensed mechanic inspect up on the rack and you shouldn't either! many people buy cars based on looks, or raising the hood and looking at the engine, but the truth is often discovered UNDER the car to see if it has any leaks-this car does not (and never has), that is a crucially important detail. I invite any potential buyer or bidder to look under this car. I have nothing to hide: the proof is in the pudding as they say and don't get scammed buy dealers or shady people that polish a car to distract you from leaks or check engine lights or anything that is unhealthy. No tricks here! This car has never been crashed, however, a scooter made contact with the left side edge of the plastic bumper in 2009, it was nothing, and my car was completely stopped, but a college student down here on spring break didn't know how to ride his scooter and when he made contact with the bumper cover, it broke off one the bumper cover clip that holds the plastic cover in place. so I had to replace the plastic bumper cover (Performed at "Touch of Class" Miami Beach, FL). It was totally insignificant. This car is and always has been very healthy and totally reliable, everything works perfectly in every way. The car looks and drives amazingly and an absolute pleasure to drive. I just had the Local Subaru dealer give it a once over and it's all good. A shopping cart dent is pictured on right side passenger door. It occurred in the parking lot of a supermarket while I was shopping. It is a very slight linear indentation and the body shop said they can pull it out without requiring paint, but I never bothered. The tiny dings on passenger side are not photogenic due to this unique color and not noticeable. There is a slight hairline crack in left tail light plastic that I never even noticed till recently--which I suspect was done in valet parking. It is water tight however, no condensation. A lot of locations in Miami Beach (hotels, restaurants, doctors offices etc) require valet parking and I suspect they may have been the culprit. Again, I didn't bother replacing it because it wasn't warranted, but you can easily swap out a tail light: they sell them here for as little as 65 dollars) and pop it in if you want. This car is has all options in the car which arrived upon delivery/brand new. No modifications have ever been made. This car has never been raced or any such thing. Responsibly driven by me, a middle-aged, no-nonsense executive. Additionally, although the sticker on the window reflected 21 MPG HWY, my car seemingly averages around 26 MPG HWY. 93 Octane (supreme) has been used without exception. CLEAR TITLE IN HAND. This car has never been detailed, i just always kept it nicely AND ALWAYS WASH IT ONCE OR TWICE A WEEK and wax it as needed-the original clear-coat is still super shiny all over. no rust at all. Anyone unfamiliar with the navigation system that comes in this vehicle as provided by Subaru, should know that it is more than simply a map navigation system, it also shows fuel consumption and acceleration, and many other computerized features that I never used but are nice to have. I have all the original manuals and Disc (DVD ROM based navigation system). 2 Keys, 1 Remote, ALL MANUALS, 4 NEW Bridgestone Potenza 215/45/R17 Ultra-High performance all-season tires with matching 5th (17 inch) rim and tire (500 value) plus ORIGINAL (Donut) SPARE which I never even kept in the car-that's the benefit of a real matching rim and tire is that if you do get a flat, you just swap them and rock and roll.. none of these tires have had any flats or ever been patched or repaired to date. I bought the 4 new ones recently at Tire rack and had them delivered and installed here locally. I've had the routine oil/fluids done every 3000 miles-some locally of which are here in miami beach at the neighborhood mechanic shop who works on all kinds of imported and Japanese brands and 3 other Subaru's like mine so he always had genuine Subaru oil and air filters etc from bird Road Subaru. Other oil changes and routine stuff at one of two dealers in Miami ( Bird Road Subaru and William Lehman Subaru).. who also did a recent coolant flush (radiator) a few months ago. Dealer also replaced a sensor, belts/hoses, and power steering pump and even the gas cap over the years. I had high performance ceramic brake pads which were installed at Sears auto Center (front and back at different times). that's all that's ever been done. Battery is a sears Gold diehard from sears with 5 years warranty and it was worth it because they replaced it free. This engine runs like a top, and is very healthy. Shipping is not included in this price, and you must arrange for your own transport method, or local pick up in person. I am not a car dealer and have no knowledge of shipping or towing companies so that is entirely the responsibility of the buyer. Anyone may come see and test drive with proof of verified valid DL and any local Subaru dealer or licensed mechanic shop inspection is welcome (as long as it's local). This car is in amazing condition and lots of fun to drive. it's very responsive in all conditions and has always served me well and been 100% reliable and will serve you well. there is no reason you can't get another 150K easily based on other cars like this. if you look around you'll see most cars like this have three or four times the mileage! 95% of every Subaru Legacy ever built is still on the road---that's a fact - Subaru's have "bulletproof reliability" record according to consumer reports and best top safety pick in front and side ratings. There reputation is outstanding and this is a rare opportunity to get a very low mileage premium model--the fit and finish is quite outstanding. high quality materials in a high quality assembly -no rattles. a lot of cars as they age, the plastics and other materials can rattle as the car settles-but this car is quiet and sound. I never hear any strange noises. To me, it's been a pleasure to own this car, because I've had no surprises. no check engine lights, no weird sounds, no electrical problems. It's been super predictable in it's reliability. I recently drove it down to key west 3 months ago to enjoy a holiday weekend and it's great for really long drives like that, but I've never worried that this car could fail me. It's always idling perfectly and steadily. The temp gauge is always in the same place-in the middle where it should be--never overheated--not even once. ever. that's all I can say, is this car has never been problematic to me at all. it has never failed me and I expect the same for you. some people say that you don't really need to change the oil every 3000 miles--well, i always did, and honestly, for 29.99, why wouldn't you??!! Clean Oil keeps your engine parts lubricated. It's common sense. This car is very much in it's prime. A perfect excuse to come down to Miami Beach (get a cheap ticket-I'll even pick you up at the airport with the car if we can coordinate schedules) and just drive this beauty home-with such low miles, a trip like that won't matter at all. you can actually buy this car at this price and sell it for a profit in the north—which is one huge advantage of having low mileage. don't let others fool you into buying their high mileage car--miles on your car are like years on your life. That's just a straight up fact. For instance, there's a guy I noticed selling this car only with almost 200,000 miles on it when I listed it. A dealer I think, who had the car polished and detailed-even the plastic parts on the engine are shiny... but I would never buy it. The kinds of problems you can expect with a high mileage car will be very costly. Anyone or body-shop can polish a car and make it look new. dealers are very skilled at it. But you should never buy a car on looks. You should test drive it--bring it to a mechanic and put it up on a the rack and look under it and see what's what. nobody likes surprises. to that end, with my car, what you see is what you'll get--a healthy heartbeat with really good response and reliability. Life's about probability not possibility. If you buy a high mileage car, you are probably going to deeply regret it with costly repairs and major headaches and being stranded a lot. it's far better to buy a high quality brand like Subaru with super low miles and that has been serviced every 3000 miles--and well kept .. and here is your chance! A rare opportunity indeed. I've bought and sold a lot of things on ebay, but never thought I'd sell my car here. Mostly because the fees would eat into my sale, so I was reluctant, but rest assured, I have been a seller and buyer on ebay for almost 15 years with a 100% positive feedback score. Always. FYI: A recent auction just ended selling a Legacy GT almost double the miles, No navigation system, and only a manual transmission (cheaper model) for about $15,000.00 just to give you an idea for comparison and that was up in the northeast where cars are subject to snow and rock salt and rust unlike mine-see here to compare ebay item 231424178772 and that car UNLIKE THIS CAR, that one needed front lower control arms, sway bar bushings, and a left front axle!
