My Diamond in the Rough This has been my car just shy of 33 years. A wall cared for car. After coming into my ownership, knowingly I purchased it with extensive rust in the pan and a replaced nose clip. It has been my go and get pizza car a couple of times a month. It has been garaged 95% of my ownership. In all the years of my ownership I have never had any tickets, accidents or dings whatsoever. The paint job on the car is 8-12 years old.This is a good building block for a old Porsche car. It hasn't been driven much the last few years. I have owned it since 1982. It was yellow. the original paint tag in the door jam is missing. I have the service records back to 1968. The floors are rusted out & galvanized sheet metal was added. The front clip was put on the car before I got it. The battery floor was also replace but not very well. The car will need the floors replace and the longitudinals. About $1000 in parts from Restoration Design.The car is running & driving now, clutch & trans work well the engine has good power. I just had the generator replaced. It comes with a new carpet kit as seen in the pictures. The doors look ok on the underside, I took pictures for you to see. There are some small blisters starting to come up under the paint (at least 8 year old paint) on the outside door skins one inch up from the bottom (have pictures). The gaps on the drivers door & hood are uneven. I can get better close up pictures if you like. The car is currently at my mechanic shop in Vista California, where it can be inspected on a rack. It looks like the Chassis # is actually made in 1961, the Pink slip says 1962.
